Hope-filled Sunday!

HOPE Amid the Pain header

Happy Sunday! Here’s another verse from my devotional book.

Life is hard. Life with chronic pain and illness is even more challenging. It becomes a common practice to get frustrated at yourself and lose faith because you’re no longer able to do the things you used to do or want to do. Social media makes it way to easy to compare yourself to others, which can fuel the downward cycle.

Today’s verse is about King Asa’s change of perspective. When others were ready to give up, he changed his focus. He stayed committed to the Lord. He kept on going. He took one step at a time, and his persistence and perseverance paid off.

Use the words in this verse as an encouragement to keep moving forward.

Keep your focus lifted upward instead of inward. Share on X

Never forget that you’re still a work in progress. God sees you, and God loves you.

Have a blessed day. Gentle hugs to all of you. ?
