Hope-filled Sunday!
Happy Sunday. For the past couple months, I’ve been sharing Sunday posts on social media that feature Scripture verses I used in my devotional book. I’m going to start sharing them here, as well.
I recently finished writing a devotional journal geared toward women living with chronic pain and illness. The key theme is HOPE, but there’s a focus on “Don’t worry,” as is the case with today’s verse.
Life with chronic pain and illness is filled with anxiety … over new symptoms, unmet dreams, daily life, etc. So many things to worry about! And it’s a vicious cycle. The more we stress, the more the pain increases, and them more the pain increases, the more we stress.
But as we’re told in Matthew, we have no real need to worry. If we focus on the here and now and look to God, we’ll be fine. There's no need to focus on and stress about an uncertain future. God is already there. Share on X If we wait on Him, He’ll be right there with us.
Have a blessed day. Gentle hugs your way.
