In Romans 8:28, Paul isn’t telling us that pain and suffering are good or pleasant. They’re not. Instead, he is reminding us that we no matter what we’re going through, we’re not alone. God will never desert us. He still has a plan for us. This is a certainty. Share on X
For those people living with chronic pain and illness, you now have a new “normal.” You’re likely reminded daily that Christ followers will still face trials. Use this verse as a comforting reminder that you won’t go through them alone. God is with you. He will provide for your needs, Nothing is wasted with Him … not even your aches and pains.
