Hope-Filled Sunday!
Happy Sunday! Here’s some encouragement for your week.
“God will use it for good.”
You’ve probably heard that multiple times in your life. Oftentimes, we hear this phrase after a challenging situation, such as the loss of a loved one or job. You may question how God could possibly use these situations. It seems impossible to believe.
At these moments, it’s time to grab some paper and a pen. On the left side, jot down the big crises you’ve faced in the past—all those situations you thought you’d never survive. Then on the right side, list the positive outcomes you’ve noticed that came as a result of those once-thought-impossible situations.
We’ve all heard that hindsight is 20/20. And it’s true that we can see things more clearly when we look back. In doing so, we’ll notice all the times God’s turned things around. And if that was true then, there’s no reason to doubt that He’ll take this current situation and use it for good in your life, too.
Lord, I’ll speak words of faith over my current situation and trust that You will use it for Your good. Amen.
