Hope-filled Sunday!

HOPE Amid the Pain header

Happy Sunday! Here’s some encouragement for your week.

Trust. Such a small word that is anything but a small concept. And it’s one that doesn’t always come easy to me. Even on the days when I’m having a flare-up, I’m hesitant to ask for help … from loved ones, friends, or even God. Perhaps it’s the same for you, friend.

When I read verses such as Matthew 6:26, it’s easy to wonder why we hesitate to trust the Lord. The Lord is trustworthy. He knows us intimately, and He loves us deeply and unconditionally. Share on X

Life has so many challenges, and when you live with chronic pain and illness, the difficulties are even greater. There’s no way any of us can handle everything on our own. The good news is that we weren’t meant to do so. But, we do need to trust God. We are so valuable to Him, and He will meet every need we ever have.

When you feel like giving up or think that you can’t go on another minute, try calling out to God. Something as simple as saying, “I trust You, God” can make such a difference. His ways are so much greater than ours. Nothing is too big for Him, and that’s why we shouldn’t hesitate to trust Him with every aspect of our lives.

Lord, forgive us when we try to do it all on our own. Remind us that we can turn to you for all our needs. Amen.

Have a blessed day. Gentle hugs to all of you. ?
