Life can throw a lot of curveballs our way. But starting the day off on a positive note, such as by reciting this Bible verse, can set the tone for the entire day. And you can end it on a similarly positive note: “In peace I will lie down and sleep, for you alone, LORD, make me dwell in safety.” (NIV).
Bookending your day in prayer is one of the best things you can do. It can help settle your mind and spirit and remind you that God is with you.
Lord, thank You for the opportunity to rejoice and celebrate You and Your creation each day.Â
