Hope-Filled Sunday!

HOPE Amid the Pain header

Happy Sunday! Here’s some encouragement for your week.

Life is full of challenges. Those are compounded for those of us living with chronic illness. And if the past few years have shown us anything, it’s that people aren’t in control of as many things as they may like to believe.

I don’t know about you, but for me, if often feels like I’m taking one step forward and two steps back. And I’m quite aware of each and every weakness, even those I’ve tried to ignore. But it’s also become very apparent that when life feels out of control, it’s truly not. God is still in control. He will provide the needed strength to do what needs to be done. He doesn’t focus on the places where I feel “less than.” To Him, they are opportunities to show His work in my life, and He can (and will!) do the same for you. His power and strength (not our weakness) will always prevail.

God never asks us to be strong on our own. Instead, He asks us to go to Him in prayer, then trust Him to equip us for each and every task ahead of us. Share on X

Lord, thank You for you presence and for giving me the strength I need daily. Amen.
