Hope-filled Sunday!Â
Happy Sunday! Here’s some encouragement for your week.
Life is hard. Ask anyone, and I doubt they’d disagree. And sometimes, you just don’t feel like doing certain things, such as cleaning, going to work, or a host of other things. On occasion, it can even include not feeling like worshipping the Lord, especially when your circumstances have you shaking your head and wondering if He is even aware of you, let alone listening to you. After all, our schedules and lives are busy. Way too busy to take a moment to pause and thank God for a new day. Right? Wrong. If your day is too busy to worship the Lord, then it’s time to hit the pause button.
Most people would never call off work because they didn't feel like going, yet we often use that excuse when it comes to worshipping God. Share on X
Praising the Lord is an act of gratitude for what God does in our lives each and every day (even on those days when we questions whether or not he hears us). And, it only takes a few moments to life up a prayer of thanks or listen to an uplifting song. As Deuteronomy 6:5 states, the most important thing we can do is love the Lord our God completely, and that begins with offering up our thanks and praise. Worship the Lord with your time.
Lord, let us never grow weary of thanking You for life’s many blessings. Amen.
Have a blessed day. Gentle hugs to all of you. ?
