Hope-filled Sunday!
Happy Sunday! Here’s another verse from my devotional book.
Like most people, I had many dreams growing up, and I’ve prayed many prayers. Some of those prayers were silly, even childish. As I grew older, they became more serious. And after my accident, those prayers often included pleas for healing. I’ve seen God do it for others, so why not me?Â
Some days the pain is better than others, but it’s never gone. I can’t claim to understand why God hasn’t healed me, but that doesn’t stop me from praying. It doesn’t stop me from believing. It doesn’t stop me from having faith that God still has a plan for me … chronic pain and all. And it doesn’t stop me from wanting His best for me, even when I don’t understand why some things are they way they are.
It’s important to remember this verse. We can be confident that God has a plan, even if it’s not the same as ours. And He’ll provide all we need to get through any situation we find ourselves in. Jesus struggled with understanding God's will at times, but He trusted His Father ... and we can do the same. Share on X
Have a blessed day. Gentle hugs to all of you. ?
