Life with Chronic Pain and Illness
There are a number of things in life that someone may not consider a big deal until you live with chronic pain and illness. Then you learn the importance of how small things can really make a huge difference. Here are just a few examples:
- comfortable clothes/shoes
- someone calling/messaging you just to “check in”
- getting out of bed and getting dressed
- taking a shower
- having someone ask how you’re doing and knowing they really want to know your answer/the truth
- someone telling you they believe you
- connecting with others who also live with chronic pain and illness
Is there anything you’d add to the list? Feel free to leave a comment.
I hope you have a low-pain day.
