My review…
I’ve read many of Meyer’s books, and I always find them informative and encouraging. This one is no exception. I was excited to read it, as it focuses on my favorite book of the Bible.
Philippians is popular with many, largely due to its message of hope and encouragement. The apostle Paul, who experienced many seasons that would discourage most people, wrote this book. He reminds the reader in Philippians that it’s still possible to praise, no matter our circumstances.
Meyer breaks down the book, giving the reader a deeper understanding. It’s presented in a way that is easy for the reader to follow and understand. This would be a good study for men and women alike.

My review…
I love using journals during my Bible study/devotional time, and this is a nice one to add to my collection.
This journal has a soft, leather-like cover with gold accents, and there is a pink ribbon bookmark (which I love having in my journals). Ellie Claire published this, and it’s the same quality as other journals and books I’ve reviewed from them.
The pages are lined and contain encouraging messages on each page. Some examples include:
– “Appreciate others for what they are and enjoy the wonderful person you are.”
– “Celebrate your uniqueness and rejoice in the future God has planned for you.”
– “We need to believe God’s Word more than we believe our feelings.”
– “I finally decided that if God is happy with me, that is enough.”
– “We are nothing without Christ and yet we can do everything with Him.”

Those are great books, as well. Good luck!
Thanks Leslie
Always been Habakkuk!
That’s a good book, though not one I see commonly mentioned. I like Hab 2:3b and 3:19. Good luck, Diane!
I’m currently reading this author’s book on Proverbs, which is quickly becoming my favorite book of the Bible.
Proverbs is one of my favorites, as well. If you’re enjoying the author’s other book, I think you’ll like this one, too. Good luck, Danielle!
Philippians is my favorite NT book, too! I definitely need to get this Bible study. Thank you for the review, Leslie. 🙂
You’re welcome, Roxanne. Good luck!
My favorite book in the Bible is Esther.
Thank you for the chance!
You’re welcome, Linda. Esther is another great book! Good luck.
My favorite book of the Bible would probably be Romans although I enjoy them all.
I do, too, Heather. Good luck!
