Welcome to Thankful Thursday: His Encouragement. I am blessed to be part of a group of bloggers who’ll be sharing a bit of encouragement through Scripture verses. I hope this post blesses you as you finish the week and that you find peace, strength, and comfort in the Lord.
I read this as part of my devotional time earlier this week, and I found it a comforting reminder that the Lord is always with us.
In 2 Samuel, David was a shepherd. He had no idea of the grand plans lined up for him: king of Israel.
And the same is true for us. God has grand plans for us, beyond what we could ever envision. Share on XRight now, as we are all sheltered in place, it may be hard to believe that God could possibly use this situation for anything good. But He can … and He will. When I find myself questioning everything going on around me (all of which feels surreal), I have to remind myself often that God is for us. He has wonderful plans for us. And He is with us … always.
