Thankful Thursday: His Encouragement #13

Welcome to Thankful Thursday: His Encouragement. I am blessed to be part of a group of bloggers who’ll be sharing a bit of encouragement through Scripture verses. I hope this post blesses you as you finish the week and that you find peace, strength, and comfort in the Lord.

1 Chron. 16:11

In life, we are faced with many challenges. Those challenges are the enemy’s attempt to slow us down or stop us from taking a step forward—from following the plans God has laid out for us. And that’s exactly what the enemy wants to happen.

Right now, everyone around the world is facing a situation like none we’ve ever experienced (or likely even considered) before. It can be difficult to feel strong when times are so uncertain. That’s why it’s even more important to look to the Lord. Ask Him for strength and confidence.

I’ve found that it’s hard to focus lately … on just about anything. But, I realize the importance of spending quality quiet time with the Lord on a regular, daily basis. I battle chronic pain, so I am used to looking to Him for assistance. He’s been there for me in the past, and I know that He’ll be there for me now. He will be there for you, as well. He’s just waiting for you to seek Him out. Let the Lord be your strength. Share on X
