Welcome to Thankful Thursday: His Encouragement.

I am blessed to be part of a group of bloggers who’ll be sharing a bit of encouragement through Scripture verses. I hope this post blesses you as you finish the week and that you find peace, strength, and comfort in the Lord.

Today, I’m sharing a devotion about Judges 6:8.

Judges 6:8 NLT

The Israelites rebelled against the Lord. They felt He’d abandoned them. They were in bondage, and they cried out to Him. A prophet was sent to remind the Israelites of all that God had done for them. He delivered them from slavery. He hadn’t forgotten them. He heard their cries. They had been disobedient and needed to repent, but the Lord was still faithful.

How do we respond to God's call? Do we trust and obey? Or do we rebel? Share on XHe wants to release us from bondage, too, but first, we need to repent and obey. That opens us to God’s blessings.

What Scripture is encouraging you today? Share it in the comments.
