Today’s Tuesday Tip is one that is still a work in progress for me at times.
REST when your body tells you to!
Our bodies know what they need. So there is no reason to feel guilty for taking naps or having a day off. (But if you’re like me, you often still feel guilty ?) Society has ingrained in us that in order to be productive, we need to be busy and always on the go. However, that’s not the case … and when we’ve hit the limit, our bodies will let us know (and I’ve found that it’s often at an inopportune time).
One of the ways we can take of ourselves is by listening to what our bodies are saying. Share on X If you’ve ever been on a flight, you may recall the flight attendants telling you to take care of yourself first, and then you can help others. That applies down here on the ground, too (and it’s especially true if you live with chronic pain and illness).
