Open 24/7! Aren’t those stores great? For instance, your child tells you that they need a snack for a classroom party tomorrow … and they tell you this at bedtime. Never fear! There’s a store that can help you out, 24/7. Pretty convenient, huh?
Wouldn’t it be wonderful if people were that way, too? In a way, they are, thanks to voicemail. But what if you really need to speak to them? Leaving a message just doesn’t cut it. And it’s frustrating to hear that recorded voice instead of a helpful, comforting voice that can immediately hear you and respond to your needs. Fortunately, God is open 24/7! Click To Tweet
God can be reached, any time of the day, any day of the week! He’s never too busy for us. We don’t have to worry about losing a signal and being disconnected. He will never put us on hold or transfer us (endlessly!) to another department. He welcomes our concerns. He welcomes our praises. The psalmist was confident that God would hear him and answer, and we can have that same confidence, too!
Lord, thank You for always being there for me, 24/7. Amen.
