Hope-Filled Sunday!

Happy Sunday! Here’s some encouragement for your week.

Are you waiting for something—the perfect job, better finances, mended relationships, physical and/or emotional healing? It may be something you’ve been praying about for as long as you can remember. It’s hard to be patient in the waiting. We may even believe that God doesn’t hear us, but it’s often in that waiting period that God is doing the most work—and not just on our requests, but on us, our character, as well.

In the Bible, there was a lot of waiting. Joseph waited for many years as he served in Pharaoh’s house before he got promoted. Abraham was over 100 before he saw God’s promise of a child come to pass. Even in the waiting, they continued to believe and didn’t give up hope, even though they didn’t get an immediate answer to their prayers. Just because God doesn't provide an answer on our timeline doesn't mean one isn't on the way. Click To Tweet

No matter what you’re going through, don’t believe for one moment that God isn’t listening or that He doesn’t care. (Both are things the enemy will try and make you believe.) God is for you. He wants the best for you and is working on your behalf. Don’t ever doubt His faithfulness and provision.

Lord, help me to be patient in the waiting, trusting that You will provide what I need. Amen.
