Hope-Filled Sunday!

Happy Sunday! Here’s some encouragement for your week.

As we get older, life’s problems seem to compound, getting bigger and scarier as we go through life. Looking back on childhood, things seemed so much easier. There may have even been someone you could turn to who always made everything better. As an adult, it feels like we’re expected to take care of our own problems, no matter the situation. However, that’s not really the case. God is still in control, even when life seems too much to handle. Click To Tweet

Life is hard, but we never have to handle everything on our own. Jesus told us in Matthew 11:28 to “Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest.” He wants to help us, but we have to release our tight grip and reach out to Him. Nothing is too challenging for Him. As a result, we can live with unshakable hope knowing that Jesus overcame the world (John 16:33). And we can be certain that He will be with us, and be our refuge and strength, no matter what we face.

Lord, thank You for the needed reminder that You never tire of being there for me, whenever I need You. Amen.
