Tuesday Tip

Today’s Tuesday Tip is a good one for everyone to remember: Your best looks different every day.  (And that’s okay!)

When you live with chronic pain and illness, you quickly learn the importance of conserving your spoons (AKA energy). You learn to pace yourself and focus on what truly needs to be done. Other tasks can be added when possible. So one day, you may really make a dent in your to-do list, crossing things off as you go about your day. But, as is common with chronic pain and illness, the next day may be vastly different. You may only be able to lay in bed with a book or a streaming service. The former day may leave you feeling like a superstar whereas the latter may have you feeling guilt. DON’T give in to that feeling!

I’ve heard many times that if you’re only able to do 50% on any given day, and you give that 50%, then you’ve really given 100%. That 100% looks different for everyone, and it is different every single day. And that’s totally okay! You're doing the best you can, and that's all you can do. Click To Tweet

I hope you have a blessed, low-pain day.
